Fabricated Hand Rails: yellow-painted steel hand rails around a raised platform and stair in a factory

Fabricated Hand Rails

Fabricated Hand Rails are steel safety railings for the open edges of platforms, mezzanines, walkways and stairs. Posts fixed on base plates carry a top rail and a mid rail, set out to follow the structure they guard. Every run is made to the site drawing, so there is no standard size: request a quote with the layout, quantity and finish.

Function

Guards open edges

Rails run along platform edges, stair flights and walkways, giving people working at height a barrier and a handhold.

Construction

Posts, top rail, mid rail

Upright posts on base plates carry a top rail at hand height and a mid rail below it. Toe boards, gates and returns are added where the drawing shows them.

Made to order

Set out to your structure

Post spacing, bends, corners and stair rakes follow the platform or stair the rail is fixed to, so each run is fabricated from the site drawing.

What does Corona need to quote fabricated hand rails?
