Universal Strut Channel / ‘C’ Strut Channel

Universal Strut Channel / ‘C’ Strut Channel is roll-formed steel framing channel, 1-5/8 in (41 mm) wide, with in-turned lips along its open face. Channel nuts lock under the lips anywhere along the length, so pipes, ducts, trays and equipment can be supported and adjusted without welding. Specify depth, thickness, slotted or plain, length, finish and the quantity you need.

What is strut channel called in other markets?
In the US it is strut channel, and UK suppliers sell it as a channel support system. In other languages it is a profil strut in French, a Montageschiene in German, a profilo di montaggio or profilo asolato in Italian and a perfil strut in Spanish.
Should I order slotted or plain strut channel?
Slotted channel takes bolts through its back at regular centres, so brackets and fixings can go anywhere without drilling. Plain channel is stiffer and cleaner where fixings are few. Corona makes both in 21, 41, 61 and 81 mm (13/16 to 3-1/4 in) depths, 12G to 16G.
